/Light colors have been dominating the interior of the modern homes for a while now. If you are tired of the whites, help is on its way. Sherman-Williams have picked Poised Taupe as the color of the year. Benjamin Moore has gone even darker and introduces Shadow as its color of choice for 2017.

Sue Wadden, director of color marketing for Sherman Williams, describes Poised Taupe as “It’s like gray and brown had a baby”. Ellen O’Neill, Creative Director of Benjamin Moore says Shadow “calls to mind a ‘past’… sophisticated, provocative and poetic, it can bring energy to space or harmony and a moment of respite.”
